While in college for photography and art, I fell in love with jazz. Later I was on the local scene as photographer for bands and hip hop artists. Soon after, I became a public art school teacher. In the middle of all that, I started making beats out of my jazz records and became an up & coming producer. Now, I have returned to my roots, this time using art to capture jazz artists. Portraits In Jazz is an illustrated collection of 50 of my favorite jazz musicians, complete with a short bio of each and recommended albums.
